Laser Personalization

Ultra high quality laser printers can apply personalized messages, addresses, or whatever else your mailing may require.

Videojet Addressing

A videojet system applies sharp, easy-to-read names, addresses, barcodes, key codes, and salutations to your printing materials. This method can be used on postcards, letters, order forms, catalogs, and most anything else.

Sorting

Postal regulations require the sorting of mail to be done by strict standards in order to qualify for the greatest savings. First Rate employees trained professionals who are up to date on all postal regulations regarding zip code sorting, strapping, and traying.

Envelope Inserting

Multiple mail components can be inserted into a variety of envelope sizes mechanically and then sealed and metered, in-line or off-line. Printed matter which is too complicated to be mechanically inserted can be assembled into envelopes, boxes, or bags by hand, with utmost care and skill.

Match Mailings

When your mail piece consists of a personalized letter in a custom addressed envelope, First Rate makes sure that the right letter goes into the right envelope. This complex process is handled with care by the experts at First Rate.

Colored Inkjet Messaging

First Rate Incorporated uses a state of the art colored inkjet for your direct mail personalization needs at the highest quality and speed to fit your deadlines.

Spot-Glue Sealing

Any folded mail piece can be sealed securely and cheaply with our advanced spot-gluing machine.

Wafer Seals/Tabs

Colored circular tabs and seals can be applied to your pieces, whether for aesthetics or as a requirement for postal savings. Special labels such as "Sign here" or "Special Offer!" can also be applied on almost any printed piece, in-line with other processes.

Stamp Affixing

Postage stamps can be applied to your mail pieces for First Class or Standard Class rates.

Metering

Custom metering can be applied to your mail pieces for Presorted First Class, Carrier Route, Non-Profit, Periodicals, or any other postal delivery method.

Folding

Letters, inserts, and self-mailers can be folded either in accordance with the client's request and/or in compliance with postal requirements.

Bursting

Before continuous form projects can be mailed, removal of the pin feeds on the sides and separation of each individual form is required. This process is called "bursting". Forms up to 17" x 22" in size can be accommodated.

Shrink Wrapping

Your finished package can be wrapped into kits of specific quantities, and placed on to skids for secure shipment.
